New Here?

Welcome to Hunt’s Memorial United Methodist Church! Whether you’re new to the area or just looking for a new church home, we invite you to come for a visit.

Hunt’s Memorial UMC is a warm and welcoming place to find friendship, deepen your spiritual journey, and serve in the name of Christ. Through the love of God, we seek to walk the path of Jesus.

Here’s what you can expect on Sunday morning:

Beautiful Outdoor Worship

As the pandemic comes to a close, we are currently worshipping outdoors at 10am each Sunday. Bring a bottle of water, a lawn chair, and join us on the lawn by the parking lot! Worship currently alternates between contemporary and traditional styles each Sunday. In the event of rain, worship will move indoors, where we continue to wear masks. Once we fully return to the historic sanctuary, we hold 2 services each week, one in each style. Read more about worship here.

No matter the season, we celebrate communion on the first Sunday of each month, and baptisms are a regular part of our worship rhythm. If you’d like to have your child baptized, email Rev. Carissa.

Not ready to come in person? Check us out online! We continue to livestream worship on the Hunt’s Church Facebook Page and post worship for later access on the Hunt’s Church YouTube channel

Bring the Kids

We would love to have your family join us on Sunday morning! We currently offer a one-room style Sunday school class during the 10am worship service, for children in elementary and middle school. Just bring your children to worship, and they will be dismissed for Sunday school just before prayer time.

Infants and preschool children are welcome to play outdoors while we worship on the lawn. We are happy for kids to be kids! We plan to offer nursery care for ages 0-5 in the near future.

Getting Here

We have ample parking including visitor and handicap spaces, and an elevator for special needs.  If you are visiting us for the first time, look for our greeters who are stationed outside the worship space. They can give you directions or answer any questions you may have.

You matter to God, and you matter to us.  Please join us and experience the difference that God’s grace makes in your life.
