Boy Scouts of America – Hunt’s has a long history with sponsoring Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts units. Our “Scout Shack,” built in 1931, is the oldest building continually dedicated for Scouting in the Baltimore Area Council. Troop 319 was started in 1927 and made it past the 50 year mark before closing due to lack of boys and has been briefly restarted several times since then. Many Hunt’s congregation members have participated in Scouting, in Troop 319 as well as other troops, over the decades and several have achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. Eric Davis planned and constructed the Prayer/Memorial Garden as his Eagle project in 2005. Pack 319 has been thriving for many years and meets the 2nd Friday of each month in the Scout Shack. Scout Sunday is Feb 8, 2015. The annual Pinewood Derby will be Feb 21 and 22, 2015. Download their 2015-2016 schedule: 2015-2016 Cub Scout Schedule
