Thirty two Senior High youth group members got together virtually to put together this years service. We are a far cry from a packed sanctuary with weeks of rehearsed songs filling the air as on a traditional Youth Service Sunday, however, this service is a celebration of this fellowship. It’s uniqueness fits where we are right now and brought to our congregation from our homes to theirs.
There is at least one element from each decade throughout the service…. celebrating the lives that God has brought together over the past 50 years. Enjoy, Love Still Stands.
A tradition for over 50 years, the Hunt’s Senior High Group leads an annual worship service each spring. This joyful and spirit-filled worship service is based on a selected theme. In preparation for the service, all members of the group write about their experiences, and the graduating seniors share their meditations with the congregation. Many of the songs and hymns are contemporary or adapted for the service’s theme. The end of the service reunites alumni in a celebratory song followed by fellowship.
