All Are Welcome. No Exceptions.

Hunt’s is a welcoming United Methodist Church where faith, community, and service come together. Rooted in the love of Christ, we seek to create a place where all are welcomed, relationships are nurtured, and people of all ages can grow in faith. Through worship, fellowship, and service to our neighbors, we strive to live out our faith in ways that make a meaningful difference in our community and beyond.

Who We Are

Text overlay on a rainbow-colored background reads, "At Hunt's, all are welcome, celebrated, and affirmed. As a Reconciling Congregation, we embrace the diversity of God's people and seek to be a community of love, belonging, and justice for all." Below the text, there is a colorful logo with a cross and flame design.

As part of the Reconciling Ministries Network, we are committed to creating a church where LGBTQ+ people are fully welcomed, affirmed, and included in the life and ministry of our congregation.

We celebrate God’s gift of diversity and value the wholeness made possible in community equally shared and shepherded by all. We welcome and affirm people of every gender identity, gender expression, and sexual orientation, who are also of every age, race, ethnicity, physical and mental ability, level of education, and family structure, and of every economic, immigration, marital, and social status, and so much more.

We acknowledge that we live in a world of profound social, economic, and political inequities. As followers of Jesus, we commit ourselves to the pursuit of justice and pledge to stand in solidarity with all who are marginalized and oppressed.

We are a United Methodist Church. At the heart of our Wesleyan theology is grace. We believe God’s grace is already at work in each of us, long before we recognize it or begin seeking God.

We also believe in social holiness; the understanding that faith is not meant to be lived alone. We grow as disciples in community, worshiping together, encouraging one another, serving our neighbors, and seeking to live more like Christ.

We are part of the Baltimore-Washington Conference of The United Methodist Church.
