What to Expect on Your First Visit

Make your way inside.

When you arrive, find a parking spot and make your way inside. Accessible parking is available for those who need it. Once inside, the sanctuary is located on the second floor and can be reached by stairs or elevator. Our greeters and ushers will be happy to welcome you, help you find your way, and answer any questions you may have.

Come as you are.

There’s no dress code at Hunt’s! Some people dress up for worship, while others come in jeans and a T-shirt. Wear whatever makes you comfortable. Whether you’ve been part of a church your whole life or this is your first time, you are welcome here. You will never be singled out or asked to stand as a visitor, and you are welcome to participate in worship in whatever way feels comfortable.

Children are welcome.

Children are an important part of our church family and are always welcome in worship. Busy bags are available at the rear of the sanctuary to help keep little hands occupied during the service. During the 10 AM worship service, nursery care is available for children under age five, and children in grades K to 5 are invited to Sunday School. Following the Children’s Message, children will be guided to the nursery or Sunday School, where they can continue to learn and grow in their faith.

When is Communion?

We celebrate Holy Communion on the first Sunday of each month. In The United Methodist Church, we practice an open table. You do not need to be a member of Hunt’s or of any church to receive Communion. All who wish to experience God’s grace are welcome at the table.
